Our challenge was to develop a careers site that wouldn’t just push boundaries, but would set a new standard in the industry and even beyond.
It’s not just that River Island is privately owned and family run that makes them a unique high street employer. They have a philosophy of growing talent from within, and their ways of working ensure that everyone, even part-time store workers, are prepared for all the possibilities ahead. We needed to carry this sentiment and culture from home page right through to the ATS.
We offered visitors an unparalleled view of River Island’s Head Office and Stores with 360° tours, allowing them to explore and engage with different areas of
the business. With seasonal design updates, just like in the stores, there’s always something fresh and new on the careers site too.
Over 70% of River Island’s employees work in store. With this audience in mind, the mobile site is made for people who are always on their feet, using their smartphone to gather information, allowing busy candidates to apply on the go.
With the Careers Kaleidoscope self-selector, visitors can find out whether their style of working matches the River Island way. The Kaleidoscope brings River Island’s culture and values to life in the right tone of voice and matching style.
